“ Went to get ramen on my 2nd day nearby Tahoe, the presentation and the flavors were amazing! I love the food here and plan to come back again Food(5/5): the ramen is a slightly on the saltier side but personally I enjoyed it. Both the ramen and the takoyaki was flavorful. Service(5/5): service was friendly and checked in with us. Ambiance(5/5): the restaurant is spacious and a good place to eat with friends or family. ”
“ Pretty decent ramen for being in truckee. Not the best we ever had but satisfied our soup cravings. We also like that it was vegetable based. We did enjoy the spicy edamame. This place does get crowded for dinner (at least for weekend) so come early and sign up for waitlist and they'll text you when it's time to get seated. Service was also slow on weekends so we did have to wait a while for food to come out ”
“ Yummy food! I love their version of Takoyaki. We had kids side karaage and fries, 2 kids ramen - creamy and miso; large orders of Spicy ramen, salmon poke bowl, tofu avocado bowl, garnate ramen. Staffs are welcoming and accommodating, nice ambiance. ”

“ There's nothing like a hot bowl of ramen on a cold afternoon. I began with gyoza, expertly crisped and bursting with flavor. Great way to kick off the meal. The main event: Amber Ramen. The grilled pork was a standout--tender, succulent, and imbued with a smoky richness that paired perfectly with the subtle sweetness of the bamboo shoots. The seasoned egg, though a touch overcooked and veering on the side of salty, added a satisfying texture to the bowl. Well executed and well worth a visit, even if just to defrost from the brisk Truckee air. ”
“ Dropped in on a Friday night and was able to snag a table for 2. Service was pleasant and quick, our server was able to answer our questions and help us make our choices. The ambiance was light and clean. Every table was full and there were people waiting at the door- a good sign! We ordered Salmon Tartar-not pictured because I didn't last, wish it came with more tartar as it was a very small portion. We ordered a single Pork Bun which was spectacular, definitely try! For the main we ordered the Quartz and Spicy Quartz with pork chashu for both. We both got 2 very small pieces of pork in our Ramen. Over all very good would eat here again. ”
“ A lovely surprise for Truckee! Very prompt service. Restaurant was a quarter full for dinner on a Monday. Buns were delicious! I recommend the vegan one. Nice to see so many vegan options. Spicy quartz ramen was delicious. Noodles were chewy and broth was savory. ”
“ We have driven by this place on our way to Northstar and decided to give it a try. The place was filled with a lot of Californians (my assumption), so I figured it must be good since they have a lot of good restaurants to compare. This is definitely a good ramen place to stop at, and it probably gets even more crowded during ski season. The server was helpful and told us the popular dishes. The food is good, and I really liked the chicken buns which were a karaage type chicken in a Peking duck type of bun. Seems like a lot of places are doing this type of appetizer. If you're driving to the lake and going by Northstar, this is a good place to stop for a bite. ”
